Junior Lifeguard Academy

As one of the first swim schools to launch the Junior Lifeguard Academy in the South East, Aqualife is delighted to be able to offer Angelfish level / ASA Level 5 plus giving swimmers the chance to follow a diverse survival, rescue training and life-skills programme especially created for young people.

Swimmers able to swim 100 metres unaided  can take part, following a series of fun challenges designed to teach lifeguarding skills, first aid, sports skills, health and wellbeing and ocean awareness. Whilst some skills need to be mastered in the water, others can be completed at home, school or even online.

The Junior Lifeguard Academy swimmers thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to have fun and get active with friends, whilst parents and guardians value the fact that their children know what to do in an emergency situation.

Some swimmers may wish to join a specialist club; Aqualife has good contacts with local competitive clubs and can coach swimmers towards this goal.
