Instructor Training

"We believe that it’s not enough just to learn to swim, we want to inspire our swimmers to love the water."

We are looking for new instructors to join the Aqualife team and are therefore running a series of STA Instructor Training courses at The New Beacon School, Sevenoaks this July.

Whether you are thinking of making a career change or you are already an instructor and want to expand your knowledge, this is great opportunity to train with one of the most successful independent swim schools in South-East England and perhaps join the team!

We take a personal approach with every instructor we train, whether they are a complete beginner or have previous experience and offer support and assistance, before, during and after the courses.

Our training is delivered to the highest industry standard and we strive to inspire every teacher to be the very best they can be throughout their aquatic career.

The two courses are:

Level 2 STA Award in Teaching Swimming - ideal for anyone thinking of taking their first steps to becoming a swimming teacher. The course is open to anyone aged 16 years and over.

Level 2 STA Certificate in Teaching Swimming - suitable for existing swimming instructors who wish to improve and expand their knowledge.

Penny will be the Tutor for each course. She has over 20 years experience teaching aquatics both abroad and in the UK and is currently living and working in Australia with AUSTSWIM.

Aqualife Swimming is an Approved Training Centre and STA Swim School delivering the International Learn to Swim Program across all levels and age ranges.
